Reggae? Fest? Familiar, right? Tor Reggae Dancehall enthusiasts that should sound familiar as it reminds them of the most followed Jamaican Reggae show known as the Reggae Sumfest.
Domestically we haven’t had such shows, in both magnitude and organisation, but soon that will be history as Blantyre is set to host the first ever Malawian Reggae Festival on the 28th August, 2021 at Club 24/7.
Lilongwe based Producer-cum-Singer, Jah Rhyno, told Reggae265.com that he envisioned a big Malawian Reggae event long ago. He further revealed that plans are in the pipeline for a follow up Reggae Fest in Lilongwe this very year.

All performances will be backed by the Tuff Lion Band and the official host are DJ Sypda from Joy Radio, DJ Chronik from Timveni Radio, Mr Slyk formely of FM 101 and DJ Damex.
